[Orgga] Organic and cruelty-free Malaysian skincare made from plants

I’m always excited to try out new skincare and even more so when it’s organic, plant-based, cruelty-free and locally made!

As my skin is on the oily side, I opted for their LINDO set*.

This consists of four products: a cleanser, face mist, beauty oil and face roller. I tried this for two weeks and here are my thoughts!

Bacca Bliss Facial Cleanser* 50gm
Since this cleanser doesn’t foam up and is also an exfoliant, be gentle with it 🙂 I really love the texture because it’s grainy and it actually feels authentically organic. I always thought that cleansers were the least important step of skin care because you can just use any old piece of soap but after using this, I feel like I can never go back to synthetic cleansers. It doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils and leaves it silky soft. It has also minimized the appearance of pores, blackheads and scar pigmentation.

However, I’m not a big fan of the packaging as I had trouble shaking it out the first few tries and even squeezing the bottle didn’t amount to much. Plus, since it was in powder form, forcefully squeezing the bottle blows away what’s already on your palm lol I would suggest including a tiny spoon for the novelty and convenience.

Rose Otto Nourishing Face Mist* 60ml
I love the idea of a toner being a face mist as there’s no excessive waste of cotton pads! Despite having rose, aloe vera and cranberry as its ingredients, it smells like lemongrass to me. After two weeks, I’m sold: all toners should come in a spray bottle! It’s super eco-friendly and convenient.

This step is really important because it preps your skin for the next step which requires your skin to be damp…

LINDO Luxe Beauty Oil* 20ml
The scent of this oil is so luxurious and it feels luxurious too. It’s super rich and should not be used on dry skin because you won’t be able to absorb all its nourishing goodness. Crafted with sixteen different oils specially for oily and acne-prone skin, it is enfused with olive squalane and prickly pear oil which is their superstar ingredients, effective in repairing skin and restoring youth 😉

This comes with a dropper while the bottle itself is sealed with an airtight rubber. Special care should be taken as not to spill the precious fluid.

I never thought I would be comfortable with #nofilter selfies but I’ve been forgoing the beauty cams on my phone. I’m not saying your skin will be perfect from the get-go but with proper care, you’ll be able to gain a little more confidence! My skin took approximately 3-5 days to acclimate to this new skincare routine but after that I woke up with moisturized skin and it stayed oil-free much longer throughout the day, even with makeup on! (Usually makeup clogs my pores and makes my skin much oilier and faster)

Orgga has effectively cleaned up my skin and that’s really something. I wish that this brand existed in my secondary school days so my 13 year old self could have had radiant and smooth skin! 😭

I really love that it’s organic and plant-based so I don’t have to worry about my babies ingesting chemicals when I prepare their bottles with my hands or absorbing strong ingredients from my face because I like to squish my face against theirs. The only downside is that I wish there were more steps to the skincare so I can drag it out and pamper myself with their rich textures and scents but this 3-step skincare is actually perfect for a new mama like myself because when the twins cry, ain’t nobody got time to do a 10-step program!

Plus it comes with this pink face roller* which aside from being so prettily pink, also feels great on your skin. The coolness of the jade rejuvenates your skin while simultaneously closes up your pores. It comes in a cool green as well and if you make your purchase this month, you’ll be able to save and win with #YESORGGA.

This whole skincare line is also free from Alcohol, Hydroquinone, Mercury, SLS, Paraben, Synthetic Preservative, Sulfates, Synthetic Colouring & Fragrance.
